From the moment you walk in, the vibe is energetic but still relaxed, making it perfect whether you’re meeting friends, watching a game, or just looking for a fun spot to unwind. The layout is spacious and stylish, with plenty of seating and a lively bar area that keeps the energy going all night. One thing that really stood out was the fair drink prices, especially for a place in such a prime Tampa location. The cocktails were well made, the beer selection was solid, and everything was served quickly without feeling rushed. It’s the kind of place where you can actually enjoy a few drinks without feeling like you’re being overcharged. The staff here are fantastic. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The bartenders and servers clearly know how to take care of guests while keeping the atmosphere fun and upbeat. Even when it gets busy, the team stays professional and keeps everything running smoothly. If you’re in Tampa and want a place with great drinks, a fun atmosphere, and excellent service, American Social is definitely worth checking out. It’s a perfect mix of good energy, good people, and good prices. I’ll definitely be back.
American bar food with a twist of trying to be mildly more upscale is what I would describe the food served by this place. Food was tasty and the portion sizes seemed decent, but if course prices were more expensive and they place emphasis on the bar more than anything. Otherwise music, outdoor seating and orovavly busy throughout the day. Server was decent but seemed like we waited awhile at times to get any attention.
Great night life vibes, a level above clubbing. Nice staff. I'd go with friends, delicious and large assortment of drinks, the appetizers were delicious. The smash burger was ok, not bad but not great. The fries were delicious. Lively night. I recommend a reservation, has security guards and is very busy, loud, hard to have conversation, indoor and outdoor bar, high tops and low tops. Waterview by Waters edge. Parking Garage ticket can be validated if you purchase food (2hr free, $5/hr after the initial 2hrs).
